Award
1£®Introduction
Since its birth, AVS attracted a large number of experts
from the industry and academia. In this sense, AVS has to
owe the credit to its members who have endeavored to carry
out the arduous standardization work. To recognize and honor
those who have made great efforts in AVS standard making,
product developing and industrial application, AVS set up
the annual AVS Award aimed to encourage creativity and
accelerate the step of standard formulation. The candidate
can be one individual or a team for any one of the three
places all titled ¡®AVS Annual Award¡¯.
The first round of AVS Awards were granted in 2004. The
recommendation can be by subgroup, or the AVS secretariat,
or the company he/she works for, or the other experts work
for AVS or even self-recommendation. AVS secretariat
performs to coordinate the work of choosing & appraisal.
